Our Roots – PureFresh Sales Inc.

Back in the early 1950’s, the Purewal’s sowed the seeds to what would become their farming legacy. It was their dream of farming in India, and it was off to a great start.

A few decades later, they packed up their things and emigrated to the central San Joaquin Valley in California. That’s where Bill Purewal grew up alongside farmers picking fruit. From pruning in the winter to harvesting in the summer, he learned first-hand what it took to produce seasonal fruits, like fresh peaches, cherries, plums, figs, and fuyu persimmons.

In 2005, Bill founded PureFresh Sales, which is the exclusive marketing agent for the Purewal family farm.

Today, the third-generation Indian owned business continues to look for ways to stay ahead of the curve by utilizing state-of-the-art farming techniques and bringing the latest and greatest varieties of farm fresh fruits to families everywhere
