Sustainability

On the farm, we’re working hard day and night to get you fresh fruit. But we understand that we couldn’t do so without a healthy place to plant our roots. That’s why we’re proud to implement the following sustainable farming techniques to help protect the planet:

Solar

We use renewable energy sources, like solar power, to keep our business running and reduce our carbon footprint.

Water Conservation

In the Central Valley, water conservation is vital, especially during a drought. At PureFresh, we used soil moisture probes to measure the amount of water in the soil to reduce the water we use.

Drip Irrigation

As water supplies across California remain critically low, we’re also working diligently to use only the water we need through our drip irrigation system. This system is buried deep underneath the soil, slowly dispenses water to the roots of our crops, and minimizes evaporation.

Compost

By reusing organic waste and turning it into compost, we are able to fertilize our crops and limit the amount of chemical fertilizers used. This helps PureFresh stay true to our commitment of sustainability to you!

The environment is at the core of our fruit production, which is why our commitment to green farming is always in season at PureFresh.
